LEGO® American Civil War: JOHN FREEMAN | BRICKFILM (8 Minute War Film)

LEGO® American Civil War

Here is my new Lego American Civil War stop motion animation called "John Freeman"! The year is 1865 and the Confederacy is on the verge of surrender. In a desperate attempt the South sends one of there best spies (John Freeman) on a mission to capture the Union's top secret battle plans. It took 2,731 photos to make this film.

Well-done and dramatic.  I expected this to be more centered on battlefield.  I like the micro-scale train which gave a nice perspective to the horse and rider.  Excellent cinematography.

How much accuracy is int he story?  Are the events depicted based on real events and characters?  The name "Freeman" has symbolism in the story so I don't know if it's coincidence or symbolic.  I don't know much about Civil War so I'm asking out of ignorance.

Reminds me of a civil-war era Jason Bourne film.  Good work.
